Renan Buitrago D.D.S., Prosthodontist
Dr. Buitrago, Dr. B a New York Prosthodontist, with a double dental degree and numerous continuing education credentials.
Dr. B received his first dental degree in the year 2000, from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, in Bogota – Colombia. Shortly after, he moved to New York City and completed a one year program of advanced studies in Prosthodontics and Dental implants at NYU, New York University – College of Dentistry in 2005.

Dr. B also earned his second DDS degree in 2008, from NYU where he truly discovered his passion for academia, and was honored with the privilege of teaching in the predoctoral and graduate clinics and preclinics.

Long Island Academy of Odontology Award Upon graduation, Dr. Buitrago was recognized with the “Dr. Harry J. Gersten Award” presented to the senior dental student demonstrating excellence in fixed prosthodontics theory and technique along with the “Long Island Academy of Odontology Award” presented to the senior dental student who best exemplified scholastic achievement and clinical proficiency during the four years of study.

Driven to become the best in restorative procedures, esthetics and implant dentistry Dr. Buitrago completed a three years postgraduate program in Prosthodontics at New York Hospital Queens part of Cornell University in 2011. This program provided him with the extensive training and skills needed to provide the highest quality in dental implants, complex restorations and dental techniques that ensure patients receive outstanding dental care. Dr. B, is not only specialized in restoration and replacement of teeth but he has a proven record of restoring optimum function and esthetics to his patients’ smile. (link to smile gallery)
Dr. Buitrago, relocated to Georgia in 2011, where he joined a multispecialty dental group, he worked and lived in the Atlanta perimeter for 3 years. In 2014, He then moved to south west Florida and worked as an associate Dentist for a year. While living on the west coast of Florida he scouted out the best place to build his solo practice and found the perfect location in the heart of Coral Springs. After 15 years of extensive training, hard work and dedication he is very excited to finally open his practice and serve as your dentist in Coral Springs.
In Dr Buitrago’s free time he enjoys traveling with his wife and two daughters and discovering all the outdoors activities living in south Florida has to offer. He is currently training to run his first half marathon.
